Treblaires
is a not for profit community show choir composed of women from around
Niagara Region. We are directed by
Jessica Cowan and accompanied by pianist, Rein Fochtberger. Additional musicians are employed
on an as need be basis.
There
are two performance seasons:
one set from late November into December follows a holiday/winter/Christmas theme and a
different spring set from March until June, where the theme varies. We are available
for special events, celebrations, fundraisers, etc.
Our
music repertoire ranges in style
from classical, jazz, swing, contemporary, spiritual, traditional, show tunes and seasonal
themes. Music is memorized and
a story is "told" through song and some choreographed movement is
employed.
